Professional Qualifications
While this route can lead to a Masters degree, it does so not via an undergraduate degree but via a Masters Foundation programme.
The qualifications obtained during study on this programme are shown in the diagram below:
Certificate/Diploma in Business (C/DIB)
This is an access-type course for those without the requisite qualifications for the Masters Foundation. This programme can be delivered by open learning while you are based in your home country and provides automatic progression to the CMC Masters Foundation/DML programme in the UK (subject to normal visa requirements).
Masters Foundation/DML
Automatic progression from the C/DIB or direct entry to this programme can be undertaken. Once this stage is successfully completed the next stage is the Post Graduate Diploma/Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.
Post Graduate/Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership/Masters 1 + 2
This is a level 7 qualification in its own right and allows access to membership and fellowship of The Chartered Management Institute without further examinations/assessment (work experience is also required to gain CMI membership/fellowship).
Masters 3
This is the last stage of the Masters degree and can be conducted in an academic year at UK universities or via an associate organisation in 6 months.
