Each participant is given an assessment briefing wit the criteria of assessment for each module. It is graded by CMC's qualified tutors and checked/double marked by the college's internal verifiers. The awarding body is then free to moderate the results of the examination as and when they require. It should be noted that each qualification is assessed according to the criteria of the awarding body and no awards are made for prior experience. The accreditation of prior learning from other recognised awarding bodies may be possible - see below for details of this. Submission of Assessment Clear deadlines will be given for submission of all your assignments. Normally, the submission date is noted on the Assignments Brief by unit/module. In the case of projects and dissertations which are for completion during the summer recess, the submission date is the 1st September of that academic year. In the event of students failing to meet the deadlines for the full-time programmes of assessment, CMC reserves the right to transfer such students to its appropriate distance learning programme which leads to an identical qualification. The distance learning route provides greater flexibility in the submission of schedules assignments and projects/dissertation provides a better opportunity for students who are unable to meet the more-rigorous requirements of full-time study. In the event of CMC deeming this transfer to be necessary, the student will be offered the programme at the same level of fees as that charged earlier for their full-time course. Thus, there will be refunds or increase in fees when this transfer takes place. If I fail any of my assignments/projects am I able to re-sit these? It's the policy at Cambridge Management College that all students are allowed to resit for a nominal fee of £100 per module. Will I be granted credits for any prior learning or earlier courses undertaken? Under our processes for the Accreditation of Prior Learning, any courses which you have successfully undertaken will be considered for registration as prior learning and possibly provide you with exemptions form parts of the course you are about to undertake. Will the final qualification which I receive be recognised internationally? All Cambridge Management College courses lead to intenationally-recognised qualification from well respected awarding bodies. Should I apply for a CMC course through UCAS or apply directly to the College? For all Cambridge Management College courses, you apply directly to CMC, your first step being to complete the application form which is available HERE.
